Agricoltori del Chianti Geografico has 200 members, consisting of owners of small and medium size properties located in Tuscany’s most outstanding production zones. Together they cultivate 571 hectares (1,410 acres) of vines located in the most prestigious product zones in Tuscany. 486 of these hectares are entered as DOCG category on the national vineyard register, which is the Italian wine sector’s highest recognition of quality. The predominate varietal, which can be described as ‘princely’ because of its quality is indisputably Sangiovese.

This extremely well managed cooperative produces excellent results. For years it has been producing well-made wines.  Their philosophy is based on the understanding that ‘wine is one of life’s pleasures and as such should be available to everyone’

Conceived with modern technology, this winery is equipped with stainless steel containers fitted with an automatic system to control the fermentation temperature, and an ageing cellar with an overall capacity of 7,000 hl, divided between medium-capacity oak barrels and barriques. It also has a modern and efficient bottling and packing line.
