Breganze

Not far from Vicenza in the Veneto region of north eastern Italy lies the otherwise small and unremarkable town of Breganze. Right in the heart, over-looked by a magnificent bell tower is the Cantina Bartolomeo Beato. This is a co-operative winery, which was founded in 1950.
Its 1,000 grower members control around 800 hectares of vineyard between them, but all lie within a small area no further than 15 km from the winery, meaning just a short journey from picking to processing.
