MacCarthy
Details:
In 1825, Château MacCarthy was owned by the Counts MacCarthy, an old Irish family originally from Cork, who arrived in France in the 18th century with the Wild Geese. In 1852,
they sold the vineyard to the Goudineau-Raymond family. In 1988, the DUBOSCQ family, already owners of Château Haut-Marbuzet, bought it. From then on, these two magnificent
vineyards were merged. The name MacCarthy was used for marketing the second wine of Château Haut-Marbuzet.
