Alain Geoffroy
Details:
The Geoffroy estate was founded in 1850 in the parishes of Beines and Chapelle-Vaupelteigne. All of the vineyards are on either south or south-west facing slopes, with a sub-soil of the famous Kimmeridgian limestone without which good Chablis cannot be made.
Alain Geoffroy belongs to the ‘not so oaky’ Chablis camp, using just a little new oak for his Grands Crus. This estate has been part of the Febvre portfolio for a very long time and we are proud to represent the family.
