The history of Poderi del Nespoli spans four generations of Romagna winemakers with an unshakable faith in their land and its fruits, tirelessly dedicated to its promotion by means of constant research and improvement.
Since 2010, the year in which the Ravaioli family entered a partnership with Mondodelvino Group, Poderi dal Nespoli wines have found their way onto numerous international markets. This is also thanks to the innovative momentum created by state-of-the-art technologies introduced across all grape processing and wine ageing phases, guaranteeing qualitative improvement and compatibility with highly authentic processes.
Poderi dal Nespoli is in Emilia-Romagna, North West of Italy, in between Tuscany and the Adriatic Coast. The winery is located in the Romagna area, in the south part of the region, in the so-called Bidente river Valley (hills of Forlì at 177 on the sea level). This area offers excellent climatic conditions to produce high quality wines. It is here where we grow our vineyards and experience every day the essence of this generous, flavorful, and welcoming land.
White grape varieties are grown in the vineyards located in the highest areas where, thanks to the day/night temperature range can develop good acidity, giving freshness and minerality to the wines
Red grape varieties are grown mainly in the areas with the best exposure, in order to reach an ideal level of maturation of the grapes, improving color extraction and developing fruity aromas.
Prugneto is the historical vineyard, 100% Sangiovese variety, from which we produce the homonym Sangiovese Superiore – fresh, fruity and fragrant
