We’re delighted to welcome back Fiona Beckett, award winning journalist and blogger of matchingfoodandwine.com. This year Fiona will be exploring how seasoning affects your wine choice.
There’s still a perception than wine doesn’t really work with spicy food but there are so many different spices, so many cuisines in which they’re involved that that couldn’t possibly be true.
Award winning restaurant Ananda have created some great dishes and we’ll be exploring the effect of different levels of heat, preparation and the difference between fresh and dried spices and herbs to find out which spices and dishes are the most wine-friendly and which wines the most versatile.
